Google now does a Big Solar entry

In line with it’s targets of carbon neutrality and energy self-sufficiency, Google has already made investments in wind energy. It recently announced its biggest investment in RE by creating a $280 million fund to develop 9000 solar installations in collaboration with SolarCity, a US based solar company.

RE professionals in US now hope for non-bank financing deals similar to the Google deal for solar and other RE options. US, China, India and Australia are widely discussed as the markets for RE and Solar – financing innovations are required for making the potential come true, especially in Solar.
