China – Clean energy spending overtakes the US

A recent report by the Institute for Policy Studies says that China is investing twice as much on clean energy as the US does.China spends much lesser on military by comparison. China spends between $2 – $3 on military for each $1 on climate change. The US on the other hand spent $94 on military for each $1 on climate change in 2008. The number planned for spend is $41 for each $1 for the financial year for 2011.
